Oxygen therapy is given to patients between 15 – 24 hours a day. It is known to stabilise and sometimes reverse the progression of pulmonary arterial hypertension, which might ultimately reduce hospital visits for patients. It also increases the exercising capacities of patients and reduces the risk of cardiac arrhythmias.
